PORK RIB TIPS AND MUSTARD GREEN SOUP - AUTHENTIC HMONG DISH
A dish that is super simple to make, hearty, and authentically Hmong. If you've ever been to a large Hmong event, you'd likely had something similar being cooked in a huge vat or served on the buffet table. IYKYK. If you don't know, you probably don't have Hmong friends.
INGREDIENTS
5 Cups - Pork Rib Tips
1 - Lemongrass Stalk
10 Cups - Mustard Greens
3 Tbsp - Salt
3 Tbsp - Black Pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a pot with boiling water, add the lemongrass, pork rib tips, salt, and black pepper.
2. Once the pork is cooked, add the mustard greens. Cook until the mustard greens turn bright green and cooked to preferred texture.
3. (Optional but highly recommended) Add 3 cups of ice to help maintain the green color of the greens.
4. Serve with white rice and a pepper.
