Hey fam! 🌱✨ We’re super hyped to give you the lowdown on our 2024 veggie garden adventure. We’ve planted a bunch of awesome veggies and some bomb flowers to keep things thriving and looking cute. Let's dive into what we've got growing!
Culinary Fruits/Veggies We Planted
- Yellow and Red Onions
- Romaine
- Radishes (French and the round ones)
- Green Onions
- Chinese Broccoli
- Dill
- Mom's Mustard Green
- Red/Yellow/Orange Carrots
- Parsnips (successful? Can't tell yet)
- Kale (aphids love these)
- Japanese Radish (bolted right away)
- Cauliflower (nothing to show for these)
- Hmong post-partum herbs

- Luffa (not successful)

- Snapdragons (pinks, and creams, and orange--so pretty)
- Basil (Thai basil and Italian basil)
- Zinnias
- Cosmos
- Poppies
- Chrysanthemum marigolds
- Mammoth Sunflowers
- Lavender
- Marigolds
- Borage
- Yarrow (? Honestly, not sure if the seeds are correct haha)
- Calendula
- Sungold Tall Sunflowers (can't tell the difference between this one and the first one, so pretty)
- Bells of Ireland (beware of spikes, super bad germination, won't grow again)
These companion plants aren’t just for show—they're our garden’s besties, keeping pests away and inviting all the good bugs. Plus, they make everything look hella pretty.

Anywho, it's spring 2022 and you know we cook a lot. So, to add even more work to our already hectic lives, we started an herb garden. The majority of the greens are herbs, but we sprinkled in a couple of vegetables. What we have so far:
- Green Onions
- Italian Basil
- Peppermint
- Cilantro
- Kale
- Bok Choy
- Jalapeno
- Tomato
