Pantry Essential Prices

A lot of our pantry staples are imported from Asia so prices have increased noticeably post-Covid. From tariffs to inflation, many factors have contributed to the rise of groceries. If you’re looking for these items, I suggest visiting a local Asian grocery store for the best prices. Here are the prices that my survival-mode conscience is willing to pay for:

Lee Kum Kee Premium Oyster Sauce (the lady + kid on a boat)

  • 18 oz - $9

  • 32 oz - $11 (I get these at my local Costco Business Center)

Lee Kum Kee Oyster Flavored Sauce (Red bottle with a Panda)

  • 32 oz - $7 (I haven’t bought this one in a while)

Lee Kum Kee Hoisin Sauce

·      18 oz - $5

·      36 oz - $8

Three Crab Fish Sauce

·      32 oz - $9

Huy Fong Sriracha Chili Sauce (not the one with

·      32 oz - $8

Huy Fong Sriracha Chili Sauce (clear, non-gold one)

·      18 oz - $5

Maekrua Oyster Sauce

·      24 oz - $6

Let me know if I’m missing any pantry staples. These are the ones I buy frequently, so I am slightly more selective on prices. I have other pantry items that I don’t buy as often like crab/shrimp pastes, kewpie mayo, etc.

Hope this was helpful!
